His Eminence Mor Santiago Eduardo pay spiritual visit to His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene, Burbank.October,23 2017On Saturday October 21, His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugenio Kaplan met with His Eminence Mor Yacoub Eduardo, Archbishop of the Central America Archdiocese.
The meeting lasted for almost two hours, in an atmosphere of fraternity and deep sincerity. There was a dialogue about the different challenges facing the Archdiocese of Central America, as well as the entire Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, and both prelates, with deep wisdom, shared their views for the benefit of the Apostolic church. Questions were also raised about Aramaic-Syriac language.
At the end of the visit, Mor Yacoub (Santiago) Eduardo presented to Mor Clemis the calendar and the liturgical agenda of the Central Archdiocese for 2018.
Mor Clemis also presented the pastoral cane to the Archbishop Mor Santiago Eduardo.

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch,
providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox
community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization
comprised of 18 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was
established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church
encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by
the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively
serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
