The Reverend Fr. Ephrem Adde laid to eternal rest

Died: January 14, 2022, Lancaster, California

With complete submission to the will of God, with great sorrow, the Archdiocese of the Western US. announces the sudden passing of Reverend Fr. Ephrem Adde, Priest of St. Helena church, Lancaster, CA. and beloved husband of Carol Adde.

Rev. Fr. Ephrem Adde passed away at Lancaster, on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 71 years old. Born in Kamishley, Syria, on September 22, 1951, to Suleiman Aissa Adde and Bahejha Malke Miro.

The viewing and prayer service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, @ 5:00 PM, at St. Ephraim Cathedral.‬‬‬‬‬‬

His Archbishop Clemis Eugene Kaplan will sadly miss him; as well as his wife Carol; his son Yosef; his daughters Mary and Theodora, his parishioners of St. Helena church and St. Anthony, and other churches that he served, and especially his spiritual brothers the Reverend Clergy, as well as many other relatives and numerous friends in North America and abroad.

May God rest his soul in peace with those who fulfilled His will on earth, Amen.

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization comprised of 18 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
