With complete submission to the will of God, with deep sorrow and heavy hearts, the Archdiocese of the Western US announces the falling asleep of Very Reverend Fr. Abdulahad Shara, on Thursday, October 09, 2023, at 82 years old. ‬‬

The viewing and prayer service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, @ 6:00 pm, at St. Ephraim Cathedral. ‬‬‬‬‬‬Following the prayer, His Eminence and the late V. Rev. Fr. Shara's family members will accept condolences at St. Ephraim Cathedral social hall.

Funeral: The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, @ 11:00 a.m.
