New Parish Council for St. Peter Church, San DimasFebruary,16 2015ST. PETER SYRIAC ORTHODOX CHURCH welcomed its new Church Parish Council and thanked the previous members with a dinner meeting last Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
The new Church Parish Council is comprised by: Julian Arslan, John Kavak, Abraham Tekin, Sait Tekin, Jamil Toro, Aziz Arik, Paul Allaf, Shabo Bekdas, Jay Demircift, Gabriel Shahin, Gabriel Arik, Rami Wardeh, , Elias Kavak and John Kerim Allaf.
The dinner meeting was graced by the presence of His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan. His Eminence led the meeting and after the prayers addressed the Parish Council with their responsibilities towards the Mission and Foundation of our Church.
Officers were also elected at the meeting. Vice President is John Kerim Allaf, Treasurer is John Kavak and Secretaries are Gabriel Shahin and Gabriel Arik.
This is the second term for St. Peter Church since has established, Congratulations and God bless every servant of the church.

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch,
providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox
community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization
comprised of 18 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was
established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church
encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by
the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively
serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
