The Heads of the Oriental Orthodox Churches meet in the standing Committee, Egypt

Their Holinesses: Catholicose Aram I, Armenian Orthodox Catholicose of the Great House of Cilicia, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church, met together in the regular meeting of the heads of the Oriental Orthodox Churches held in Cairo - Egypt.

His Holiness is accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary.

The Standing Committee includes their Eminences Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli and General Secretary of the Holy Synod of Antioch, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Metropolitan of Beirut.

A common declaration will be issued at the end of the meeting.

أصحاب القداسة: الكاثوليكوس آرام الأوّل، كاثوليكوس بيت كيليكا الكبير للأرمن الأرثوذكس، والبابا تواضروس الثاني، بابا الأسكندرية وبطريرك الكرازة المرقسية، ومار إغناطيوس أفرام الثاني بطريرك أنطاكية وسائر المشرق والرئيس الأعلى للكنيسة السريانية الأرثوذكسية في العالم، يجتمعون في لقاء رؤساء الكنائس الأرثوذكسية الشرقية وذلك في القاهرة - مصر. وقد رافق قداسته نيافة المطران مار تيموثاوس متى الخوري، السكرتير البطريركي.

تضمّ اللجنة الدائمة للكنائس الأرثوذكسية الشرقية صاحبي النيافة مار ثاوفيلوس جورج صليبا، مطران جبل لبنان وطرابلس وأمين عام المجمع الأنطاكي المقدّس، ومار إقليميس دانيال كورية، ميتروبوليت بيروت.

هذا وسيصدر بياناً مشتركاً في نهاية الاجتماع.
