Weekly Bible Study of St. Peter Church High School Group

June,24 2021

Weekly Bible Study High School Group met last night, continued the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 5 - reviewing The Beatitudes and meaning of Aboon Dbashmayo.

Students then worked together in small groups and wrote reflections on specific themes throughout Chapter 5 of Matthew. For example, 'Believers are Salt and Light' and 'You Cannot Serve God & Riches.'

The verses applied to Life Application and how we can be good disciples of Christ.

After Bible Study, students played basketball and enjoyed crepes & cupcakes (both donated by families)

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization comprised of 18 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
