St. Ephraim Cathedral Youth GatheringJuly,19 2021On Saturday, July 17, St. Ephraim Cathedral hosted the local churches' youth gathering. At 9:30 AM, the event started with the morning prayer held by His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan, with Rev. Fr. Gabriel Hanna, priest of St. Ephraim, Burbank, and Very Rev. Fr. Saliba Kassis, the priest of St. Elias the prophet, San Bernardino.
Immediately after morning prayer, His Eminence welcomed the youth gathering, wishing them fruitful spiritual meetings and activities. He was followed by the St. Ephraim Youth Committee leader, Ms. Lama Mansour, who welcomed the gathering and started the event's program.
At. 11 AM, the lecture was given by very Rev. Fr. Saliba Kassis, concentrated on the youth gathering theme "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Phi. 4:12-13. Followed by questions and answers regarding the lecture.
At 12:30 PM. the lecture was given by a personal experience and testimony of Mr. Mousa Dagher referee of NBA, followed his speech was honored by His Eminence Mor Clemis with appreciation certificate signed by him, given by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Hanna.
Following the lectures, workshops and many fun activities were held with joy.

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch,
providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox
community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization
comprised of 18 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was
established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church
encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by
the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively
serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
